Quick start

Three steps: sign up for a key → call the API with auth → pass vendor params.

{BASE} is the API root — production: https://api.hitcaptcha.com.

1. Sign up and get a site-key

  1. Open the console register page
  2. Register with email code — new accounts get 1000 free points
  3. Copy the default site-key from API Key (send it via Authorization or X-API-Key)

See Authentication and Billing for details.

2. Health check and solver list

bash
curl -s 'https://api.hitcaptcha.com/health'

curl -s 'https://api.hitcaptcha.com/v1/solvers' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer <site-key>'

Or:

bash
curl -s 'https://api.hitcaptcha.com/v1/solvers' \
  -H 'X-API-Key: <site-key>'

3. Solve

Put type in the path (akamai / kasada / datadome / reese84). Body holds common fields plus vendor payload.

bash
curl -s -X POST 'https://api.hitcaptcha.com/v1/solve/kasada' \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer <site-key>' \
  -d '{"url":"https://www.wizzair.com/","timeout":90000}'

Success shape:

json
{
  "ok": true,
  "type": "kasada",
  "data": {},
  "cost_ms": 123,
  "charged_points": 2,
  "balance_points": 998
}

On failure check error.code — full list in Errors.

Python example

python
import requests

BASE = "https://api.hitcaptcha.com"
KEY = "hc_xxx"  # console site-key

r = requests.post(
    f"{BASE}/v1/solve/kasada",
    json={"url": "https://www.wizzair.com/", "timeout": 90000},
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {KEY}"},
    timeout=120,
)
print(r.json())

Vendor-specific fields are under Vendors in the sidebar. Top-ups: Payment.
